Vans 2010 Fall/Winter Versa Collection Preview

Previewed is a peek into Vans’ Versa lineup for Fall/Winter 2010. Four different colors in the Versa are shown, all taking on premium suede uppers with an overall classy, versatile look. A release is set for the Fall/Winter season.

Although its nothing new, since we’ve seen these florescent colors used before, most notable within the Supreme collaboration from last year, they still have a distinct look to them and are now being made available as a general release. Chosen models include the classic Slip-on and Authentic. Stay tuned for a closer look once a release date nears.

Another highlight comes from the regular Vans Spring 2009 Collection - the premium leather pack. The pack consists of the Chukka, Sk8 Hi, Era and Slip-On. All four of them come in a chocolate brown colorway, with the upper made up of premium leather and suede.

The Vans Skate Mid is perhaps a more organic version of what was once commonplace in the skate community as many skaters would inevitably chop down their high-tops (effectively birthing shoes like the Half-Cab).

Timberland EathKeeper Boots

I wanted to share with you a great new find. Heritage brand Timberland has introduced a new collection of boots this year that are really stylish called EarthKeepers. The EarthKeeper collection are partly made with recycled materials but you wouldn't know if from the looks of them. Finding boots that are well made and will last a long time for a reasonable price (under $200) is challenging these days. Timberland has been making craftsman style boots since the 1950s. My favorite design aspect of these styles by Timberland is the mixing of leather and suede. I have a pair of the EarthKeepers Bethel Buckle Tall Zip Boot in Bitter Chocolate and I love them. The reddish brown is a really unique color and they are so comfortable and sturdy. Check out more of the Timberland EarthKeeper collection here. Proenza Schouler Shoes Resort 2010

I don't often post about shoes. I do love shoes but I think they have to be something pretty special to catch my attention amongst the many different shoes in the world. Today I just couldn't help myself. I spotted the most amazing Proenza Schouler Shoes in the Resort 2010 collection. The bad news is that they are a bit (well alot actually) out of my price range. But the good news is that I have got until spring 2010 to save up. I am as we speak making myself a Proenza Shouler shoe money box. I also would have great difficulty deciding between them, but I suppose I have a while to make up my mind.At the moment, I think the blue flat sandals are possibly in the lead or maybe the yellow ones.
