Amy Winehouse for Fred Perry Collection
We were prepared to hate this. After all, there's a history of music stars inspiring trends, if not a clothing line outright and it's a history that's, at best, checkered. So when we heard that perpetual divamess Amy Winehouse had collaborated with her favorite designer, Fred Perry on a new collection, we were all set to roll our eyes.
Except...
... we kinda love them. These are perfect (and perfectly classic) '50s-inspired pieces that would work really well as wardrobe basics, to be paired up with anything the wearer desires. We especially love that little black trench and the black and white checkered dress. Not every girl can work these looks and to be fair, not every girl wants to, but whether you wanna get your rockabilly on, wave the flag at a drag race, or you just can't say no to a killer high-waisted mini, you just might want to tap into your inner Winehouse. You can see more pieces from the line here.
